Lucky number 13

I had planned to get up early today to post something before my ER shift. Instead, I got up early to get sick.

I've taken care of a dozen patients with gastroenteritis this week.
They were kind enough to share.

    Ah...that reminds me of all the times I went in to the ER with a migraine. I used to get them regularly back then and I would go into work with one eye streaming. I'm sure all the patients were just thrilled to see me coming.

    Drink some seven up. It is my cure all for anything and everything.

    And stay home. I know that sounds ludicrous when they get so pissy about anyone missing work...but if you go to work, everyone will look at you with not pity, but fear. No one wants to get what you have. So...stay home. Sleep. I know how much you need it.
