If Graci starts doing 'guest posts', that's not a good sign

I'm going skydiving this afternoon with my mom, my sister, and my brother. When I talked to her on the phone last night, my mom said, "Well, it'll be a good story if nothing else."

I corrected her.
It'll be a good story or nothing else.

Sunday night update: It's a good story.

Woooo Hooooo - so how did it feel? I think you're incredibly brave, Terroni ... and your Mother and your brother ...
I heard a story once about a girl who had been raped who decided to sky dive to boost her confidence. It worked - she felt so good that she tried it again. When she landed, she broke her wrist, rolled and broke the other wrist.
(This is a true story - I used to fly planes and this was told at the bar one night after we'd been out flying). I've never been but I might try it - might stretch my spine!

I've started a busy week here, Madame, but I hope to have some time tonight to tell you all about it. Wrists intact.

I had to check in to see if Graci was telling grim stories. Skydiving is one of many things I will never ever do-unless of course, I am drugged and pushed out of a plane against my will.

On the forth, there were many coming down at the airport where we were gathered to watch fireworks. At one point everyone in my group thought we were going to watch a guy come down and smack himself on the grill of someone's truck.

He missed it by about 10ft and hit the ground in a soft run to a stop as if he were merely Mary Poppin's landing on her next clients doorstep with her umbrella open above her.

I would have certainly broken both wrists and probably torn a leg off as well, had it been me.
