Lucy Martin

She came at 8:40 this morning.
The feet belong to a 9 pound, 7 ounce,
22 inch long (not so) little girl.

congrats to mom and dad and Auntie T!

I have to ask: is that a standard sheet of paper? If so, is this kid part hobbit?

Auntie Terroni - I think that makes 2 little girls now. Your nieces: Logan and Lucy. That has a nice ring to it. Congratulations sweetheart. The little footprints make a wonderful welcome to the world for Lucy.

Yaaay! Congrats to one and all!

Are all babies born with feet that dirty?

thank you all for the good wishes!

yes, she is 1/8 hobbit. this will come in handy when it's time to apply for college scholarships.

and her feet weren't this dirty at birth. this shot was taken after a long day of work on the railroad. we start 'em young here.

Lucy- I love it! Anytime I see a newborn in a carrier, I stare just a little too long and then the thought crosses my mind to ask if I can have it. I usually refrain from saying it out loud but not always.
Why am I so honest today? I'm scaring everyone as my inner dialog finds a way out. This is awkward.

Congrats to you and yours!
