Overkill
Tilex Soap Scum Remover now kills the flu virus. It says so right on the label. When I read that I thought, "Do I really need you to kill the flu? I mean, has anyone ever actually contracted this disease from her shower? Athelete's foot...maybe. But, the flu?"
Am I the only one who isn't even the slightest bit worried about catching a fever and chills from her grout?

I think they've started using it at the hospital. Probably makes housekeeping feel better about cleaning post-flu patient showers.
Every time I look at the bathroom in winter I think that I don't want to go in there and strip off. Before I thought it was just too cold. Now... I know it hides a far worse fate!
I'm off to get me some of that soap.
Have you ever had the flu? Once, you have it..just the thought of getting it again makes you crazed with worry. Before my bout with the flu, I never got a flu shot, snorted at the thought. Now, I get one faithfully.
This sounds to me like brilliant advertising. Anyone who has had the flu, will see that and think, "WOW. I never thought that I could pick this up in the shower! I am buying this RIGHT THIS SECOND!"
In answer to your question - I don't think so. But then again, if you can catch a fungus, perhaps you can catch a virus. In any event, you have clean tiles, yes?
It's so very good to have you back little T.
girl, in my world... ANYTHING is possible :)
Hi T!
I get soo confused by the kill the germ/don't kill the germ debate! Doctors say "Take the vaccine for underarm odor (or whatev)." and naturalists say "Snort that stuff and you will be stronger!"
One thing I do know is that Maria is right. Lots of people say they have the flu with a bad cold, but when I had the actual Influenza bit, I literally couldn't lift my head off the pillow for days at a time. And it hurt like stink! I still don't take the shot for it because of my formerly mentioned confusion. What to do? What to do? I guess I'll just go clean my bathroom.
