A scrumptious crumpet--a scrumpet

My resident today... "I hate the British. They're so uppity with their tea and scrumpets. I mean, what the hell is a scrumpet?"

Good question.

An uppity Englishman ("Brit" is so vulgar) writes:
Hee hee hee hee hee …

God, was he in the same room with the guy who refuses to eat french fries because the French were smart enough NOT to get their feet wet in Iraq?

And, wow...I never knew that "Brit" was vulgar, Dive. I think I have said that many times. Why didn't you slap my hands and let me know?

Scrumpets. I think that sounds like a naughty little kid who says dirty words a lot.

Hee hee, Maria; I don't mind "Brit"; I was merely faking a snobby and uppity Brit tea-drinking crumpet-muncher.

Jenny, so good to see you again!

Cheryl, it's actually poor girl. The 'he' is a not so bright 'she'

Susan, let me know if you get that to catch on ;>

And Dive, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

A scrumpet. Kinda like an "English muffin," but I don't think it's as good!

- Love your blog, Terroni!

Poor girl has never read "God is an Englishman". "Scrumpet" - love it! Love crumpets too, as long as their well toasted. With butter and quince jelly.

Oops, "THEY'RE well toasted"
