It's exhausting, what with all that tying
Graci put on her Chuck Taylors but had to take a little rest before moving on to other overwhelming tasks--brushing her teeth and starting her car.
I'm not sure how she does it all.
I get tired just thinking about it.

Getting the laces flat and symmetrical takes a phenomenal amount of mental discipline and effort, T.
Whenever I see a pair with scruffy laces I get mad.

Thank you, mme benaut and dive, for your support and understanding. And just to be clear...it was 4AM and I'm pretty sure that human bodies were not designed to function that early. I'm lucky just to have gotten them on the correct feet.

They are green low-top Converse All Stars. They were named Chuck Taylors after the salesman whose suggestions helped Converse craft the shoe.
Life can be tough sometimes. Overwhelming, even.
