To get a dirty job done

I colored my hair with some henna...I'm now a red headed woman.

Well, I don't know how many girls you've dated, man
But you ain't lived 'til you've had your tires rotated
By a red headed woman, a
red headed woman.

It takes a red headed woman to get a dirty job done.

Whoa...henna. You're a brave woman indeed. I haven't used that stuff since the 70's. That's some gritty, muddy stuff. Any chance we could get a picture? I love red.

Must admit that I haven't tried henna. My hair is mousy blond so I colour it with a mix of chocolate brown and indian summer red - comes out a nice rich reddish colour. The photos on ADP are of my previous short blond style which I confess I'm thinking about returning to.
Would also love to see a photo of a redheaded Terroni.

I used to use henna about every six months and I LOVED it. It didn't smell to high heaven and it worked. It gave me a nice shimmery auburn hint in my otherwise mousy brown mop.

My mother had the most gorgeous hair, it was like Katherine Hepburn's. NONE of her daughter's are red haired, but several of her grandchildren are. My mother chose to give me her bad teeth and freckles. Hmph. That is SO like her.

Now, my hair is mostly gray, so I can't try to look like a 50's bombshell anymore.

But, YOU can. Now, just leave your red headed locks off that resident!

Terroni, thank you for the comment on ADP. Very sweet of you and of course my husband is just pure wicked! That photo is about 3 years old I think - taken just after 2 carpel tunnel surgeries and one microdiscectomy. The bikini was a gift from M.B of course which I wore just for him on a rather deserted beach. I have another tiny weeny orange one which is not fit to wear in public really! So, thank you little one for your observation ... makes this old girl feel not quite so old.
Maria - you could always colour those grey locks again and request a Katherine Hepburn colour - just for fun?

I went red once upon a time and I enjoyed being a red-head. I just don't have the patience to upkeep it.

I was red for awhile, but looking back at the pictures, I can see that it didn't suit me at all, my skin tone just doesn't work with anything other than this dark chocolate color that it is now, I'm sure you look lovely though, a pic maybe? Just of the back of your head? Red can mean a lot of things...
