On sexism

In USA TODAY's On Politics, Mark Memmott wrote,
Clinton, who today was wearing a yellow and black ensemble...

Hey, Mark, when was the last time you made mention of Barack's clothes in your column?
Quarter past never?
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Hey, Mark's boss, Mark needs to be fired.

*laugh* the only reason I can see for him to comment on this, is that perhaps we should question the ability of someone who would choose a "yellow and black ensemble" to make very good decisions...

Not really. :p

I am still undecided but leaning towards Obama. But, I swear to shit if these idjits don't stop critiquing Clinton's outfits, her hair style, her lack thereof or too much application of makeup, her FUCKING SHOES, her laugh, her scent, her whatever...I will just jump on the Clinton bandwagon out of pure frustration.

Like Dive, I was imagining Bill in those colours, which I like together BTW. I still think of "Clinton" as Bill and the female Clinton as Hillary. I know, I know, it's just that I'm of that generation. That inane journalism does annoy me a bit but then again, I always notice women's outfits and almost never remember what the hell a man was wearing - usually a choice of blue, grey or black suit and black or brown shoes - the only variation being the tie (or the socks). Perhaps give the poor idiot journo a break for being a poor idiot.

There has been so much focus on how Hillary Clinton looks, it just makes me ill.
