Do you ever just want to sit
in the quiet
and wait for truth
to soak you like a wave?
Or is that just me?
post script...
Be patient towards all that is unsolved in your heart,
and learn to love the questions themselves.
~Rainer Maria Rilke
Named for a woman who used to say, "If my legs were longer, I could be a model." When you asked, "How much longer?" she would hit you. Loved her.
Do you ever just want to sit
in the quiet
and wait for truth
to soak you like a wave?
Or is that just me?
post script...
Be patient towards all that is unsolved in your heart,
and learn to love the questions themselves.

I learnt my lesson about doing that. The last wave that soaked me seems to have given me a continual cold so the truth in that for me was "Get out of the rain dummy."
Rilke and I don't mix well. I always feel as if I will never measure up.
I don't sit still often and when I do, the truth still eludes me and I just fall asleep.
I always wanted to be the sort of person who meditates and finds a way to still their soul. I've never achieved it. I think I try too hard or something.
i am bad at sitting. public transportation helps me out, because it feels like i am doing something, but i can sit still. a psych professor from college called it "subjective time." he said you just had to do nothing.
