Time and temperature

It’s 6:00 in the evening.
It’s 50°F.

And, because 6:00 is the new 5:00, it’s still light out there. The time change was rough on me, but I am finding the adjustment well worth the extra daylight.

Did I mention that it’s 50°F? This is exciting, because I am broke. It cost me $161 to keep my little apartment a balmy 65°F last month. Someday soon, it will be a balmy 65°F outside. And on that day, I will begin stealing heat from outside, just like I now steal his light.

Because, at the core, I am a thief--a cold, broke thief.

Not really stealing, since it is being given to you. Bring on the warmth!

Ah, the joys of spring. I love daylight saving. We steal hot water too Terroni - leave a very long hose out in the sun and hook up an outside shower - instant hot water!

We keep our thermostat on 65 in the Winter and 78 in the summer. I am never really comfy unless it is Spring or Fall.

It is supposed to reach 45 degrees today. I feel like skipping outside nekkid.

An outside shower, eh? Is that just an excuse for you and MB to get naked in your backyard? ;)

And speaking of nekkid...I say go for it, Maria!

thank goddess--spring came waaay too late this year. I swear I'm getting rickets from lack of sunlight.

Ha, ha, Terroni! M.B is frequently seen nekkid underneath the shower - about 6 times a day in this heat and sometimes more. As for me, I guess I'm nekkid a few times a day - it's a wonderful way to keep cool and our neighbours are far enough away that they'd need binoculars and a ladder probably to see us! See what fun you have to look forward to when you come to visit us?
(You're allowed to wear a swimsuit if you prefer).

I just paid $384.00 for 100 gal of oil for my heat at home. I am now destitute!
