I haven't really listened to her before, she might be a little to slow-speed for me. K.d. Lang is a woman right? I don't mean to be rude, but she's rather androgynous looking. -P
P~ Yes, she is a woman. This song is from her album of Canadian standards. I was looking for some music to share with my mentor, a 66 year old Canadian-American, when I found this album. Not all of her music is quite this slow-speed.
I've been listening to her a lot lately. I seem to be in need of a little slow-speed.
I've had a kd-fest on my iTunes all morning since reading this, T. From Absolute Torch and Twang, through Shadowland and Ingenue. Bliss. Thanks for the inspiration.
I'm doing all I can for her here, Ryan! Perhaps she notice and get me a good seat at her Ann Arbor show. I tried to buy a ticket online, but they're all crappy seats.
I'm kind of a concert snob. I like to sit in the center in the first 6 rows, and I'll pay big bucks for the privilege.

As it should be.
It should be that easy, that simple, shouldn't it?
What are we thinking when we turn it into this complicated, scary thing?

Dive~ If there ever is a real kd-fest (or a kd-palooza, or kd fair, or kd-stock), we should go!
k.d. come back!
