An old bag lady

In response to Susan's post about feeling old, I offer this...

It's the Nina Totin' bag--a canvas bag adorned with Nina Totenberg, NPR's award-winning legal affairs correspondent. You can purchase it here.

Not only does this really amuse me, but also, when they say that it would make a great reusable grocery bag, I say, "That's exactly what I was thinking!"

So...who's old now?

That's a great bag, T.
I have no idea who the lady is but I like the Warhol pastiche.
My re-usable grocery bags are made of hemp and have a boring ad for my local organic store on them. Yours is much more fun.

I'm like Dive, my back seat is filled with boring hemp bags with the logo of an organic store on them. And I am so old that I not only use them to keep from using bags, I use them because I get a dime off my groceries for each bag I use.

Now, THAT is old.

Ummm ... reusable hemp bag (for ten years) chick here ...

Although, I think I'm a tiny bit younger than Maria (but not much) ... LOL

string bags, sugar! yep and they also keep me from buying stuff i really don't need...if i forget the bag, then i fill it with the plastic bags and take the whole thing back to the market next time and do the plastic recycle thing there...anyway, good on you1 love the bag, btw

lol, I have a reusable bag in every colour! I love them, I recycle any plastic bag we do get but try not to use them.

I knew I was old this afternoon, as the bus waited at the traffic lights I found myself gazing into the window of a shoe shop thats less about fashion and more for the older generation and thinking how comfortable the shoes looked...

Jenny, I wear less than attractive, comfortable shoes to work--black Dansko professional clogs.
Comfy, but not so cute.

Savannah and Grey, thanks for stopping by! I have been a lurker on both of your blogs ;>

Scout, Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Dive and Maria--two peas in a reusable bag pod.

Rich, your Sox are looking good, man! Game 3--6 to 0 in the 4th as I type this.
