A severe weather warning is in effect...
Straight from the mouth of our local weather guy:
Stay away from the windows.
Because if a tornado comes, it could hit you in the head,
and cut your face, and whatnot.
I'm hiding in the bathroom.
With my pepper spray.
We'll see how tough that funnel cloud really is when I blind his ass, and kick him in the balls, and whatnot.

whatnot? that sounds pretty all-encompassing. take care, stay low, wear clean underpants.
yeah, it's the whatnot that really concerns me.
YEAH!
now i can laugh
...
again!
Uh, why would you hid from a tornado with pepper spray? Is there something I'm not getting?
My goodness.
.
The whatnot is always the worst of it. Constant vigilance!
It struck me as funny. The idea of a tornado hitting me in the head and cutting my face.
Kind of sounded like I was meeting the funnel cloud in a dark ally. A real bad ass twister.
But, I was tired, so it may just have been funny to me :>
How's the weather? Did you survive? We don't get tornado's here but we had such strong winds two nights ago that my beautiful rose arch blew over - pulled straight out of its metal feet which are still lodged in the concrete/bricks/stone. The rose has survived but has now had a severe haircut and I'm waiting for M.B to use his architectural skills to fix the arch before the rose starts growing in the wrong direction. It's spread on the lawn and is about 15 feet long.
Good luck with the courts little one and don't forget to let us know how you're coping. Ditto one of your other commenters - you will be fine. And congrats on getting through the exams.
This made me laugh and laugh. Then I read it out loud to Justin and we laughed together. I hope you survived the tornado. You're quickly becoming my favorite!
I would totally karate chop his ass. They better stay away from me.
Kick it in the bush.
It could you know, kill you, and whatnot.
Stay safe.
Ha! Do we watch the same forecaster guy? I drove through a really wild storm Tuesday night, and my brand new car was pelted with hail--it's fine, no marks or whatnot--but still, it was crazy.
For those who asked...yeah, we survived--all in one piece. Stupid weather.
Bones~ I love that!
Robyn~ Glad your car's okay.
Mme B~ Court's been postponed until June 20th--damn continuance. But, I'm doing okay.
We are weirdly nonchalant about tornadoes here in Nebraska. I was at Liv's school today over the lunch hour and some kids were outside at recess. The tornado sirens went off and the supervising teacher came in to ask if we thought she should bring all the kids on the playground to the cafeteria, where we were.
"Hell, no!" we both said, together. "Well, at least wait until you see a car flying by or something..."
We all laughed, but we DID go check the weather news and it was just the sirens being tested.
I always make Liv go into the basement with me when the sirens go off at home, but we take Harry Potter and just sit on the sofa and read. I don't even turn the radio on, just wait until the sirens stop.
This is what happens when you live in tornado-ville.
I'm terrified of tornados. It's why I bought a house with a basement!
