One of those times

Sometimes, I feel very alone in my own head.
Now is one of those times.

Sometimes, I feel like everything I put out there is misunderstood.
Like my intentions are completely misunderstood.
Now is one of those times.

Sometimes, I think it's pathetic to feel those things.
Like it's all just self-pity.
Now is one of those times.

It is easier to sail many thousand miles through cold and storm and cannibals, in a government ship, with five hundred men to assist one, than it is to explore the private sea, the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean of one's being alone.

I think I know what he meant.

Hey, thanks for the shout out on my blog. And ditto right back, missy.

Sometimes it seems to me as if you and proxima are my smarty pants little sisters....

I'm not much of a Thoreau reader anymore. I read Walden the first time and thought that this man really had my ticket. I read him the second time and thought he still had it. Last year, I read it again and my first thought was that he really needed to just go out and get filthy drunk and let himself hoochi dance with a gypsy.

Being alone can get dicey if you are in a hard place. So...go out and buy some glade plug ins, honey.

Seriously,'s just a bad day. Tomorrow will be better. And when it is, it will be your job to come over to my blog and make me laugh. It's a rule....

I would love to hoochie dance with gypsies myself, that's a nice mental image! :>

I like your Thoreau quote and it's ok to have those feelings. As much as it feels like you are alone and it's hard to believe otherwise, you really aren't. It's ok, things will get better.

My personal motto is that as long as there is a new day, it is a new day to make things better. I always look forward to tomorrow. I know I can make it my own if I choose too.
