365 homosexual-inspired events

From an article by The Traditional Values Coalition (so named because The Psychotic Bigots Coalition was already trademarked):

There are also Gay Pride Week celebrations, a National Coming Out Week, “Gay Days” at Disneyland, Gay History Month, the National Transgender Day of Remembrance, “Safe School” events and more.

The way things are going, every day of every month will eventually be a homosexual-inspired event of some kind.

I told Lolita, "I, for one, can't wait to see how your people spice up President's Day. It's been lackluster for far too long."

"Yeah, I better get going," she said. "I've got a couple hundred events to plan."

That's rich. Personally, I feel that every day is a very queer day.

Only, we acknowledge it. :-)

I tend to dislike all the gay pride events here in Nebraska. Not because I don't have any pride, but because I swear the local news teams look very hard to make sure that the Judy Garland dress up queens and the women with crewcuts and leather vests riding motorcyles are the ones that make the news. And when they interview one of us, it is always the ones who sound like they have no brains. I think it is purposeful. They totally disregard the dentists, the moms and dads, the lawyers, the dishwashers, the secretaries and farmers. NOT that I have a problem with the Judy Garlands or the leather lesbians, I just think it is a stereotype that the media likes to buy into.

We are everywhere.

that'd make one helluva fun one-a-day calender.

We don't have any gay pride events here...sometimes we have the Southern Baptist Convention. I haven't been but I suspect it's not nearly as much fun.

J~ You think we could market that? Maybe use the profits to pay off some school loans?

S~ We don't have Gay Pride either...but we do have a German festival in the middle of August. Just what everyone wants to do in the 90 degree heat--eat sausage.

In all seriousness, though, check out HRC.org and send an email to your senators asking them to vote for the Matthew Shepard Act.

There are all kinds of possibilities here - I personally would like to see Gay Election Day.
