So, it's been about a week since I left the beach and returned home. I miss it. Lots. Mostly, I miss the perspective the huge ocean provided. It showed me that I was just a small piece of something much larger and more powerful. It gave me clarity and focus. It reminded me that my hours of studying were all just work at being the best small piece that I can be.

I seem to have lost some of that perspective now that I've returned home. The waves I have now are mostly panic and fatigue.

Hang in there, Hon. It's all good, believe me.

Get plenty of rest and be good to yourself.

This is just a wave, ride it out, and hopefully the next one will be better.

Good advice, P. Thank you.

You can go back there anytime you wish, sweetie. Just close your eyes. You have always seemed to me to be the sort of person who would be good at that.

And there IS light at the end of the tunnel...I promise. Those tests are awful. And well...those 72 hour days that are coming up will give you a whole new insight into what surreal actually means...but in the end, it is honestly worth it and the people you meet along the way make it all that much so.

You know this might sound cheesy...but maybe you can buy one of those water falls things that can go in your apartment. Sometimes all it takes is a little reminder.
